Lou Rawls rumoured to be back in the charts with a run at Christmas no 1.

Sounds like good news. Much preferred the queuing system for the tills that they had for a few months than the free-for-all they replaced it with.

The queuing seemed stupid when they were keeping the store so empty, it just made you go on a long pointless walk. If you have more people in I can see the merits of it to stop people from queuing up the end of the different aisles.
What was more irritating to me was when the end of every aisle was blocked off so you had to walk down and then back up. Also from a social distancing perspective this just made more people walk past each other repeatedly.

That queuing system is dangerous. It's negligent to leave the clothes aisles open and force everyone in the shop to squeeze through them while someone is looking at clothes.

If they wanted to operate that system they should have removed the stock from that section like the responsible smaller shops have.

It's because people go by the letter of the law and don't see the spirit of the law or the bleeding obvious.

Supermarket coronavirus measures and the policing of them have been shiite from the outset, Looks good outside with them all queueing and self distancing and then inside its been a free for all do what you like.

Set of robbing cnuts the lot of em.

Wife just popped into Lidl on spec. Don't know if it's a regional deal or just confined to our local
branch, but she picked up a twenty four pack of Andrex toilet rolls for £7.99 .Tend to think it
could be a local " special" as the sign said " once they are gone, that's it".

It does sound irresponsible, but I would wager they get some kind of collective incentive bonus for the
most sales. Always remember a similar scheme once at City Electrical Factors. Prices were inflated to
get sales targets up with the result that local trades people were well and truly fleeced.

The scheme even involved the type of car the branch manager could have and I know the manager at
Wakefield was driving around in a top of the range Jag.! Amazing how pure greed motivates certain individuals.

It's the sub sector that Boris the clown should have really cracked down on but instead he has done his best to hand a monopoly to the big supermarkets without restriction. Wouldn't be surprised to find he's got shares in Tesco Morrisons and Asda

If she is indeed a Tory, that kind of foresight would be lost on her.

Have to agree re Morrisons queueing system. It drives me and the missus batty. It’s such a ludicrous jobsworth creation that provides literally no benefit, increases time in store, increases close contact with others and increases the likelihood of catching the virus.
