    Chelsea replace a £70+ million player with a £50 million player.

    Each player costing more than we've spent on all transfers in the club's history added together, by my reckoning.

    It's been terrible tonight, we've made some awful mistakes and been punished accordingly, but let's not pretend we were favourites to win. Let's not pretend that this is a sign of things to come.

    It's the hope that makes it so frustrating. We come out and look a really good side, take the game to them, and then just fall to pieces in an amateurish fashion

    No one is pretending we were favourites but some of the mistakes are sunday league stuff. And how ritzmaier keeps getting picked I'll never know

    I completely get that. It's not a level playing field.

    But to compete in a game like this you have to do everything to the best of your ability. You have to hope the opposition has an off day. You have to be tight. You have to minimise risk.

    You don't give away the same goal 3 times.

    I didn't see anyone pretending we're favourites but what has annoyed people is that we've given it a right go, missed some great chances and then just gone to pieces. My son's U7 team (Holmfirth Town juniors) would score against this lot, they're an absolute shambles at the back. We've laid on a plate for Chelsea 4 out of their 5 goals this evening.

    I dont think anything can stop the knee jerk bbs, logged off last two defeats, been bliss Saturday nights.

    Chelsea keepers made 3/4 top class saves an all.

    Nobody is saying we were going to win but they haven't had to play anything like a £200 million side to score 5 we've given them 5. And we aren't learning from these mistakes at all that's the worrying thing

    He's not been great, but he's hardly the second coming of McNulty. There's a player in there.

    Folk were saying the exact same as you are now about Andersen at the start of last season, then praising him when he got better and pretending they knew he was great all along.

    Fickle.

    Don't know where folk get off with the dogs abuse some players get on here. Great way to motivate them.

    They also had a star studded xi 12 years ago, but we didn't give them 4 goals that day. Chelsea should have had 3 more in the last 5 mins.

    Hooe I'm wrong about ritzmaier you were praising him for having a great game Saturday but he has 1 half decent game in 6 months but still gets picked every week wish luke thomas got as many chances as him. The lad has little pace, passing is average, he doesnt score, his reading of the game is poor. I just dont know what he brings to the table. He is up there with McNulty, Wiseman, el hamoir and the rest for me.
