Has anyone ever seen a match away from home where there has been as much one way traffic ??? And all we have to show for it is 0-0 score line and a sending off. We should be 3 or 4 up by now and game over. The players are just lacking confidence in front of goal - whether that’s the final pass or a strike at goal. It’s ridiculous. And more than frustrating !!!!!!
Because the system demands we have athletes up top instead of footballers. I get why we have to do it but it’s mildly depressing that we have to suffer the likes of Frieser while Woodrow sits on the bench because he’s better off the ball.
It has been a dominant performance. Reading haven't known what to do at times. Giving the ball away left right and centre. They've only had two threats really, a through ball that was thankfully ruled offside earlier on and then the break that resulted in the red card. Other than that, slim pickings. I'm not sure Barnsley have been guilty of awful misses either. Things not quite landing for them in the box, Mads hitting Helik with his header, Frieser bringing out a good save, Ludewig needing too much time just before the sending off.
Well Barnsley finally managed to lose. They did everything they could to achieve that loss. Pretty patterns going forward with no end product. Arrrraggghhhh !!!!! You look forward to watching a game - and end up watching something like that - wholly unprofessionally performance !!! Ludewig got MOTM from Barnard - and yet he was the worst player on the field. Responsible for touches that led to both Reading goals. He looked tired and needs resting. Mowatt was able to show his worth by passing back to their goalkeeper with a cushioned header from 6 yards out. Reading fans after watching the 1st 30 minutes must be wondering how the hell they went on to win that game. Horrible.
Could you please add to your player assassinations that Thomas showed why he should"t get near the team, when in good positions he never lifted his head once, thus messing up the final ball .
I'm not knocking anybody but it's the old problem that hasn't been addressed.still and needs to be sooner than later...the final 3rd.... We want a big hairy aggressive old fashioned number 9 That's willing to put himself about and let the opposition know they've been in a game
