Yes, it's that man again - Kieffer-Moore. That's his second name, right? All the commentators call him that constantly throughout the game. Players are usually referred to by their surnames during play (mostly but not always) but Keef gets the full name EVERY time, especially on Sky. Anyway, simple corner to the edge of the six yard box and the big lad brushes aside the centre half to plant an easy header into a big gap on the line. Wish we had a centre forward like that
Moore again. 2-0 to Kerdiff scum. From the sounds of it, Forest are fvcking awful. Knowing them, they'll be looking for another manager tomorrow.
Close range toe poke this time. Forest really are suffering that big hangover from the end of last season. Shame we're not there today instead of Cardiff. We could be doing the same to them.
He’s a Cardiff player all day long at this level. Was only nine goals for Wigan last season I think? He’ll double that this year - but to caveat that he wouldn’t score as many playing for us.
And rightly so. It will take them a while to get over one of the biggest chokes in football. If we'd been in their position last season and messed it up so badly then the I'd have wanted the head coach replacing straight away.
Scores for Cardiff, does well on international duty. Good luck to him. I never understand why when players leave they are suddenly rubbish. Played a big part in the promotion season and made the club a nice bit of money.
I'm pleased to see him doing so well, but it's a shame that, like so many others, international recognition only came after he left us. It's as if Barnsley isn't a fashionable club. Can't understand it!
My mates who support Forest said they were awful all season and nobody could really understand how they were so high up in the league. I tipped them as possible surprise strugglers this season.
He'd got into the squad with us. Injuries helped hIm make the team and then he grabbed his opportunity.
Good to see him doing well at Cardiff, I had a feeling he would. All the best to him - but not in the games against us!
Nope, he’s correct. It was Bobby Hassell calling him it on iFollow in our game against Wigan at home.
There might be something in that. It's a very small sample-size, but we COMPLETELY BATTERED them in the away game last season and somehow contrived to end up losing. In the penultimate league game, they turned up looking to get a point. We were utterly, completely desperate to win, and had they shown more attacking intent they might well have undone us. Then they were very ordinary in the Carabao match. So perhaps they are not up to much.
Kieffer is one of those names that doesn’t quite feel ‘right’ when you say it. The ‘f’ almost feels unnatural cos we’re so used to using ‘th’ in Keith. It’s a bit like people saying ‘slither’ when they mean ‘sliver’ -‘Just a sliver of cake for me’. The ‘v’ feels a bit wrong and similar to those that pronounce ‘the’ as ‘vuh’
