If they lockdown again I imagine it will be it for many pubs and small businesses. Some pubs near me still havent opened since the last lockdown.

One small business has settled their account with us today as they are expecting to close their doors for good if and when Boris the clown forces them to close again.

If we go for another national lockdown what's the end game? Are we not just kicking the can down the road again? This time into winter.
How long would we go for 6 months? Doesn't sound viable to me.

This govt doesn’t plan 6 weeks ahead never mind 6 months. If they did we would have a working test track and trace in place. I don’t see any good outcome from where we are now with the current lot in charge

I wonder how many kids so far have faked a cough to stay off school.

Professor Robert Dingwall on Newsnight about the futility of lockdown. “The virus is going to be around for ever and a day.” And on the unenforceable and unaffordable restrictions. “We need a national conversation.”

It’s quite hard to fake a continuous cough for any length of time and as it would mean your entire family has to completely self isolate for 14 days I’d imagine hardly any, if any. I’m sure they’d instantly regret it if they did when they see their parents scrambling around trying to get a test and possibly losing their wage for 2 weeks and having to drive for hours for an unpleasant swab.

Close the borders or quarantine it's that simple. Enforce the measures already implemented. No need to lock down, shouldn't have needed lock down last time if we'd closed the borders and quarantined and told the priveleged few to go to the embassy wherever they were staying.
