    Alex Scott going to be the new presenter after Sue Barker released, not watched it for years but will probably start watching it now, not for the content but because she is fit as xxxx

    She's like hoss sh*t- everywhere. Tell you now, that sadly, she's not an improvement on Sue Barker.
    Don't mind Matt Dawson being replaced, but I truly believe they will come to regret getting rid of
    Tuffers.

    And she's pretty good at it.

    Definitely an improvement for me with Alex Scott. I can't understand why diversity is regarded as a bad thing by some people. Well, actually yes I can.

    Sue Barker had a spell of being everywhere as did Clare Balding. Think they need to modernise the entire show now otherwise I dont really see the need to change the presenters.

    To be honest, it's not been the same since David Coleman left with Emlyn Hughes and Bill Beaumont has captains. That's probably the last time I saw it.

    One of the most decorated female players in this country, and has a degree in media/journalism. Makes sense to me.

    I haven't watched QOS since Bill Beaumont and Ian Botham were captains to be fair. David Coleman hosted. Probably won't watch it now either.

    But things always need to freshen up, to remain relevant. I have nothing against Sue Barker and she's superb during the Wimbledon coverage in particular, but she's been on TV for over 30 years after a cracking playing career in tennis. She's 64. That's some run in the spotlight earning a fortune, and helping such as Alex in terms of laying the path for female TV presenters etc.

    The worst thing is I don't think it's anything to do with diversity. I think Alex Scott is just bloody good at what she does. She's smart, speaks really well, looks good (as in she's well dressed and takes pride in her appearance), extremely qualified, engaging and just a bloody good presenter. She isn't hired to make up the numbers or to increase diversity, she's hired because she's one of the best around.

    And she does a cracking charleston too.
