    It's baffling that we've not addressed the forward line. We missed a big presence up front all of last season - look at that big shithouse Collins for Luton, exactly the type of player we've been desperate for for over a year. It should've been top priority this summer.

    Because we’ve not got any physical presence or pace up top now Brown’s gone any team with a capable manager will tell their team to press us & force us long. It was the same early last season before Brown started playing there.

    Wednesday worked us out in our second league game & it persisted until November time

    Instead we sign another centre half there’s never any urgency with barnsley when it comes signing players.

    Two years left on contract no rush to sell should have told player and stoke he's going nowhere till replacement signed but as usual money talks with the board at Oakwell profit more important than squad strength and league position.

    It will be because strikers are the most expensive players to get. We like to spend £0.5 to £1 million and that will get you at best someone young and raw, unproven at the level, who isn't job ready.

    We still need to replace Moore from last summer. Brown tried and tbf won his fair share of headers but it wasn’t the same. Hence, Luton away after lockdown, we had Brown on but still put Halme up front.
