We were in Filey yesterday. I’ve been to Filey loads of times, including the day before yesterday. I’ve been in the height of summer and in early spring. Yesterday was something else. Was the town of Filey giving out free money to people of 70+ ?! I have honestly never seen so many people of that age bracket in one place. The place was seriously packed. With Senior Citizens. Yet the young people of the country are being blamed for everything.
I went to Filey on the way home from Scarborough yesterday and am not (yet) 70... Only had a stretch around the country park and didn't go into the town though.
Apparently Cocoon 2 was being filmed there. I always thought Filey was closed, a bit like Withernsea.
Dover for the continent Eastbourne for the incontinent I was there this afternoon ......from what I saw ...they are not kidding lol.... I'm 63....I look a youth compared to what I saw there....bless lol
went to Filey few week back when it was hot. First time I’ve been since Butlins was there when I was about 6. Was absolutely rammed. I gave up on queue for parking meter and ended up downloading that app. Was like the whole of england had decided to go to filey that day. Didn’t enjoy it one bit.
Probably having a holiday now their grandkids are back at school. Probably, tired of looking after the little tykes whilst their own kids have been at work. Probably, enjoying themselves, they are allowed to enjoy themselves once in a while, or so I've heard. Probably.
Is that the one where senility sets in and they all forget they already made this film over 30 years ago?
Well the next generation are going to be forced to work until we’re 75 to pay for this lots triple lock pensions and 30 years of retirement so the place will be quiet during the week again.
Probably most at risk of dying from covid-19. Probably don't care that if they catch it and die they aren't just killing themselves they're killing off the loves of everyone else who will be locked down as a result. Probably don't know how to take any personal responsibility or just believe that because they've been around a while they dont have to.
We are in Whitby. Place is seriously busy, and uncomfortable from a social distancing pov. Huge queues for any type of food outlet.
North Bay at Scarborough yesterday was great, plenty of folk but all acting responsibly. Same the day before at Sandsend. Saw the state of Whitby driving back not good and nailed on more cases.
Nobodys to blame really. If anything the government. They say one thing then another and allow one thing then another. People just wanna get on with it as life is too short anyway
