    Not necessarily an area we need strengthening in, but strength in depth is always good.

    Not a bad goal record for a centre half, 9 in 81 games for Cracovia.

    If we play 3 Centre Backs this season which Struber looks keen on I wouldn’t mind reinforcements, Andersen and Sollbauer have to start, Halme might slot into defensive midfield or upfront and Williams is natural full back, so another one wouldn’t be too bad.

    Gerhard dosen’t seem to like Halme at centre back.
    Which means - that even if Bambo comes back we still have only 3 recognised centre backs.
    If we play 343 then we need more than just 3 centre backs.

    I don't think J Williams has put a foot wrong in a back three so I would think it would be more to add competition than to replace him. Due to the nature of this season I think we definitely need more strength in depth. Therefore to have 5 CBs (excluding Diaby) challenging for three positions seems sensible to me.
