    bought a mouse trap (a proper one that k**** sad/said mouse - not keen on this notion of trapping and later releasing vermin!)

    noticed an electrical gadget for sale that supposedly scares away mice and rats -
    didn't have time to study it but where do you fix it to - does it need plugging in and how exactly does it work.

    (Fired - if you're there this may be the answer to your problem)

    Yes they're just plug ins. Seem to be effective in the garage where we periodically get mice. Only work to deter new intruders though.
