Victor starting is a shock, I’ll be honest.

Hope he can take this opportunity and bag himself a goal. The chances under Struber will come, it’s up to the lads to follow Walton’s lead and take them. Come on victor big lad we’re all behind you.

Thanks to you and everyone else for pointing this out. Not been paying much attention so hadn’t realised. (Hadn’t spotted Schmidt wasn’t on the bench)

I like Clarke Oduor but I’m not advocating playing him at centre back...

    Which is even more crazy.

Lucky escape last year but I still think Struber is terrible manager. I know that will be a very unpopular opinion though

He’s not competing with Williams for a spot.

Williams is playing as a centre back.

Also what’s the issue with Williams? Did a really good job after lockdown

Not sure what to say to that - his stats say otherwise
we only needed a lucky escape because we were so poor before Struber arrived. If you want a terrible manager look at some of the historic ones such as Spackman Parkin and my favourite but maybe before your time McSeveney

The goal scoring record of Brown for how much of the ball he sees is poor and whilst he's clearly better than Victor maybe this is Struber telling the board to get their finger out and get him in a target man.

I'd agree with that, Dave, old mate. John McSeveney is my choice as the worst manager of Barnsley whilst I've been watching us.

Unpopular but one I agree with. While ever ritzmaier is selected I'm convinced he's clueless.

We've certainly had worse but considering the tools he had at his disposal compared to Stendel I think he was awful last year and made so many poor decisions

You seem to be saying that Struber is a bad manager based on him picking a player that you don't like or think is very good.

The coach picks the team, his stats since his arrival speak for themselves, and he says Ritzmaier plays in his system. So you can't argue that it's getting results.

Listening to Struber’s interview on radio Sheffield the other day, I’d say it was quite clear why Victor was playing.

He’s probably a nice lad and that but I think it’s time for Victor to move on. Find a permanent club and get settled rather than have another loan. Although, not sure how many takers we’ll get to buy him off us.
