    Not in the stats I read but even if you're right I thought all these asylum seekers were dodging every other country and heading for here. We take a small percentage of the total. Doesn't fit your agenda though does it?

    We processed the fifth highest number of asylum applications of all the eu countries for which data was available in 2015.

    When the data came out for the other countries we weren’t top five and have never been in the years since.

    We also take amongst the lowest number of applications per capita - we have more taxpayers paying towards each asylum seeker than most other countries anywhere.

    I don’t really know why I’m bothering though, on two counts :

    1. I wouldn’t be bothered if we did take in more asylum seekers than anywhere else - the number is arbitrary. The fact we don’t is neither here nor there.

    2. You are an absolute abomination of a human being. Don’t ever class me as one of ‘your people’ - I don’t want to be associated with you any more than sharing a similar genetic makeup.
