Wearing the new home shirt on his Instagram, recent story showed him back at Oakwell. Hope to have him back soon. Outcome imminent?
Don't know about his stamina, but I think he's the muscliest Barnsley player I've ever seen in his recent shots
Looks like he's been very dedicated fitness-wise during lockdown (judging on his instagram). But yeh match fitness will take a bit of time like for any player
Trained with squad quite a bit, but no game time. He was limping though when all the lads were getting on the coach to Brentford. I presume all the teams had their TV pictures done etc, hence the photo
when I first read that I saw "he's the muscliest Barnsley player I've ever seen in his recent shorts"
Knowing the EFL, he’ll still be awaiting his outcome in December. He can’t play at any level until then. Regardless of what he has or hasn’t done, he should be taking legal advice on this - as he has been stopped the right to carry out his employment beyond a reasonable period of time, without any just reason. OR...... He is guilty, and serving a longer suspension on the quiet to protect his image and transfer value.......
Whatever the ban he gets if found guilty he must have already served it with the time it’s taken so probably come straight back into the team.
I agree, if he was suspended, it would (a) have been announced and (b) be on the official suspensions list with an end date for all to see.
You can coach position, awareness and technique, but not pace. IMHO he's worth persevering with and I think the current coaching set up is ideal to get the best out of him.
Genuine question, but are the U23s actually playing this year? I've not looked into it, but it took a lot to get the misters playing never mind the youngsters!
