Boris wants the kids back at school whatever it takes. So if these "super spreaders" going back doesn't play a part in a rise of covid hospialisations by the time they have time off in October, I don't see how he can continue with all his draconian rules.

Are you seriously suggesting that how a classroom is set up is overseen by the PM. Here's a fun fact, when a minister including the PM visits anywhere it's their team that sets up the venue. An aide will have orchestrated the lot, like most employed by this government and cabinet they're prone to **** up after **** up. That's the truth, had to go through it many times. Minister and media kept away from certain staff and union reps to ensure the moment isn't spoiled or uncomfortable questions are asked.

The person in charge of that school with ultimate safeguarding responsibility is the headteacher not the PM who is no more than a visitor. He doesn't however suddenly take charge of a school just because he is in residence. I'm not disputing that the PM is obviously feckin stupid in his position to be blind to the fact that the children are all sat together. That, unfortunately, is your average politician these days, I hate these photo calls that they do. Same when a local councillor turns up to hold a spade with a high viz jacket on just to get a mug shot in the chronicle.
When the PM visits anywhere his security team and aides have overall control of the site. Yes the head would have safeguarding responsibilities for the kids, but once the PM appears he's the only person that matters.
Of course he’s in a position to halt the Photo session he could refuse and state to the cameras why he’s done it which would have put him in a better light . Are you seriously suggesting that Boris had to go through with that situation and not at least protest or suggest what’s wrong ?
