or any kind of stream would be much appreciated by the fans

 

We are unable to stream I’m afraid. It’s at their training ground. I don’t even think we’ve any high ground to film it from a decent angle. But we will do our best to film it and get highlights out in the evening.

 

I read earlier on the newcastle site the reason it wasn't being streamed is at the request of the bsly coaching team...not to do so

If true the gaffer must have his reasons....any truth in it Andy.....

 

I read something on here like that last weekend too, that we'd said to Crewe no streaming. But that's nonsense. We were all good to go, and we filmed it all. They didn't. Because they asked for our footage afterwards instead. But the decision did get to us before kick-off, not to go live with it. And that comes from club secretaries who've got it mutually from both coaching teams.

We got that decision regards tomorrow, earlier this week, rather than an hour before kick-off like last weekend.

So I dunno. I said it last weekend - it makes lives and our job much easier, to stream the game. But I'm not going to message the gaffer and say "have you stopped us streaming?" am I? Or Steve Bruce when we get there - "Heyup Brucie, az thar said wi can't film?"

But whatever. It's just a friendly. It means nowt in the grand scheme. Back to normal after this game.
