    The club statement is that of a party that is being litigated against. It's their side of the story. The Cryne's will no doubt have a very different one.

    Worthwhile remembering that before jumping into thinking you know what the f.ck is going on.

    Just had this same discussion. Very much a case of He Said vs. She Said, with little meat on the bones to form much of an opinion. A lot of guess work, with more coming out over the coming days/weeks I imagine.

    Club using their asset - the website - to get their story out. The Cryne's will see things very differently.

    I think it’s unfair to say we don’t know anything. We don’t know the truth or the other parties opinion but the allegation is there for all to see. And that allegation has the basis of the truth we all accept were facts in 2017

    I think all we can do is keep an open mind and see how it all pans out. In the meantime we do what we've always done - support the team.

    Lets hope the outcome has the same happy ending as our near neighbours Sheffield Utd , I know the issues are different ,but the co owners Kevin McAbe & Sheik somebody or other ended up in the high court over an ownership issue , the outcome was in the Sheiks favour but all the club in fighting had no impact on the team who were promoted to the Premier League ! A similar outcome would do just fine .

    I hope that’s not true.
    And if it is I hope that the intent isn’t to squeeze the owners of the football club.
    The ground has to remain in a trust or whatever to make it impossible for a developer to sweep away the ground and build something else.
    But the owners of the football club must have an agreement with the owners of the ground that they can build anything they want as long as its a means of securing annual revenue for the football club.

    In principle I agree. But why would owners spend money building on land or improving a stadium that they don’t own. If you sell the club you just have to take a leap of faith and trust the people you are selling to are honourable
