Apparently poised to sign for Blackburn Rovers from Stoke City. Fee thought to be in the region
    of £2 million.

Would be selling him at a loss which isn't a surprise because even in our great league one side he didn't look like he would make the step up easily to championship level.

Maybe a case of he was signed under a different manager at stoke, micheal o Neil doesnt want him. Or maybe he wants the move for game time. I thought he had a good season for us in league one, it was clear pinnock was the better of the 2 but I was disappointed we only let him go for 2.5 million

Looks like good business in hindsight.

Does at the minute but the lack of game time at stoke hasn't helped him at all.

Not good enough. For me, league 1 at best. Wasn’t sorry to see him leave. Had ambitions above his station. Would choose a fit Angus over him any day.

Looks like we did a good bit of business for him and Moore, both sold at a loss since.

Still not convinced Moore was good business

think we would have had plus 10 pts with him

There are extenuating circumstances for Moore's fee though. It's a fire sale at Wigan.

Don't really get Moore love-in. We struggled at the start of last season in the main due to individual errors at the back.
If you think we'd have had plus 10 pts with Moore, by those estimates we'd have had +20 if we had kept Pinnock.

Not really, they had an unsuccessful bid for £2.3m for him in January long before any administration.

Nobodies offered owt higher than that for him.

At the time, both pieces of business were dreadful, when considering we also lost Davies and chose to sell Pinnock.

No rewriting of history will change that.

The club didn't think it was bad business, which is all that counts really.

    What you think is irrelevant

Not as irrelevant as what you churn.

The business done relegated us. We’re very lucky that relegation didn’t apply to us this year.

But fully respect your differing view.
