Have you ever seen that clip of selby taking over 5 mins to play on shot with Ronnie's famous 147 played along side it?
Match play snooker, It's all about winning. But yes, Selby isn't very entertaining. Just remember though, it's his living, and there's no rule that says he's got to entertain "the crowd "
Yeah I saw it on YouTube a while back, the lad is a total perfectionist. I was chuffed when he won his first World title he's been one of the best now for quite a period of time. Young Trumph needs to take a leaf out of his book, but he's another player who will either Muller you or miss everything. Bring back Tony Drago lol!
Absolutely and he seems like a really nice bloke too. I don't get angry about how he plays, just sometimes I can't take watching it. I actually enjoy a good tight frame more than a century a lot of the time. It's when he goes for the full on grind them down approach, it's time to turn off.
He's 5-4 up against the modern day Terry Griffiths. This explains alot about how slow Selby is.......
Selby all the way. O' Sullivan doesn't like it up him. Top player when he's steam rollering players in best of 9's and 19's tops these days. Not so good when a player digs in against him. Match to be more or less over this morning.
Unbelievable snooker today in both semi finals, but that last three frames from Ronnie there, was why he's the greatest to ever pick up a cue, and there will never be another like him. Next level stuff. Should be a great final this weekend now.
J Parrot said it all. Probably the greatest most dramatic day of snooker ever. Hope the final lives up to the standard by what’s been set in the entire tournament.
We lucky it wasn't the two losing semi finalists who won or they would have made the Davis/Taylor final seem quick.
Yeah Ronnie O'Sullivan gamesmanship of the highest order in the last frame before the mid session interval. Bottling it. Kyren Wilson all the way rah rah rah
