Total guess work there and totally wrong. His big announcement means nothing because all you have to do to get around it is meet people outside or at a pub or restaurant. It's a pointless statement he's made. Here in Kirklees we have been fine in Huddersfield. But because other parts of Kirklees such as Batley and Cleckheaton have had problems, we all suffer as a area under the same council and that's wrong.

It’s a lot of places where a lot of Muslims live. On the eve of Eid.

    Including my town.

    Very true.

Whatever happened to the investigation into the Tories and their blatant Islamaphobia?

157.8 sq mile area and the whole of Kirklees is treated as one. This tame restriction will make no difference to anyone. As this guy put it.......

Do you think that's why it's been done to stop people from more at risk communities coming together?

I'm surprised it's taken them so long to take action in these areas. I regularly look at this.

Bradford have been above Leicester for around 10 days now and towns/cities in the North West have dominated the top 10.

An empty Taxi pulled up outside 10 Downing Street and Boris got out .
Never had this phrase been so aptly used .

No. I think it's been done to try and upset Muslims.

I'm not sure what they would achieve by doing that...

I’m due to go for a pub meal in Bury on Saturday with a mate who lives there , I think I’m right in saying we can meet in the pub but not in his extremely large garden .

Was reading last week about local spikes at factories in Batley and in Cleckheaton. These areas aren't exclusively muslim, why male it about race when it plainly isnt.

"BBC Newsnight correspondent Lewis Goodall said the Department of Health and Social Care had confirmed the restrictions will apply to all indoor settings - so it will mean that no two households should meet in places including pubs and restaurants."

Probably 200+ people turning up at a funeral where the Imam had CV has made them nervous. “ sorry we didn’t know” isn’t much of an excuse.

I don't see a lockdown in London where thousands were on one knee breathing on each other. It seems "but I'm protesting" IS an acceptable excuse

In your opinion, it's not a race issue. In my opinion, it is.

Barnsley has a worse rate of infection than some of these areas, why no extra measures?

It isn't now. We are down to 9 infections in the last 7 days.

So are pubs being shut again in these areas as there will be members of different households going into the same pub even if they aren’t actually meeting up

I think they are probably following the numbers, they’re doing the contact tracing so they have clearly seen that a lot of cases are coming from inter-family indoor contact. During the protest I London and subsequent to that the R rate must be low and have stayed low. Anyone thinking it’s a conspiracy against Muslims is frankly barking mad. But still I oppose all mass gatherings, BLM, Britain first counter protest. Leeds scumbags outside bellend road, mass funera attendances, etc, I don’t discriminate, if you’re not following the rules, wearing a mask and being careful then you run the risk of spoiling it for the rest of us, and you and your family are idiots.
