But I've renewed my season pass this morning (huge thank you to Beth Sefton for her help). His passion has made me realise that my love for the club & it's players is greater than my dislike for the board.
However, I have lost my old seat that I've had since the 2003/04 campaign. I've had to move from my seat in the Ponty End, Row BB Seat 134. I will now be sat in the Ponty End, Row BB Seat 132!:D

I think you've got the seat next to that big fat smelly bloke who doesn't bath for weeks, his clothes reek and he's so fat he sits with his legs wide apart, the sort of bloke you hate sitting next to on a bus cos he takes up three quarters of the seat. You'll be pinned in like a sardine !
    I'll introduce myself.

Really pleased for you, old mate. I'm quietly optimistic about next season, I think we could be seeing the start of our Championship consolidation era. And despite the understandable negativity surrounding the board, I believe that they genuinely want the club to grow and improve its standing. They've made mistakes so far, but I'm hoping that they'll learn from them and steer a steadier course from now on.

Looking at the team last night, I was struck by how much they've developed over the season. They look so much better already than the team we saw pre-Xmas, and they can only get better. I think we're in for a hell of a ride and I think you'll be really pleased that you renewed again.

    Onward and upwards. You Reds!

I'm waiting on the outcome of the Wigan appeal before consulting with Laura about renewing.

Oakwell wouldn't be the same without you. It might take you a while to adjust to the different view from a seat two along from where you used to sit. For old buggers like me and thee change can be very disorientating! :D:D:D

A few weeks ago I posted that I was convinced we'd be relegated. The last time I was as convinced of our impending doom was in the 2008/09 campaign. On that occasion, we stopped up by winning our final fixture 2-1 away from home (Plymouth Argyle), too. This proves, if proof were needed, that I know nothing about football.

Was just going to ask this question on here - has yesterday's result persuaded anyone else to renew?

I'm ok with that, provided that Laura consults with you before she buys any shoes, handbags or glad rags. :)

I can honestly admit my footballing knowledge is nil, old mate. There are no illusions of self appointed wisdom about me.

Nice one 'Lil. Fully appreciate that like a lot of us, you have become cheesed off by
our Board of Directors. I truly hope that this season has taught them a valuable lesson
and they add some experience to help the young team to consolidate their place in the
    Championship.

We don't have a joint account but I tip my wages up to her and she gives me pocket money on a weekend. If I bought a season ticket even on pay monthly that would be £600 quid instead of £300 ;)
