    Gives you a glimpse of the passion, belief and love for his young team, a truly remarkable evening, if this bunch of lads can be kept together then maybe we will be the Brentford or better next season

    Sorry I slagged him off. Blubbing now. Regardless of what happens with Wigans appeal what an achievement. We've never had a more passionate coach.

    I wasn't sure he'd choose to stay, given the recent reports in the press. That interview just removed any doubts that he's committed to the role.

    Now I just hope that the owners give him the support to build from here (not chucking money we don't have at things, but investing smarter than they did this season).

    Epic achievement under extreme pressure with limited resources.

    Magnificent display tonight as it was at Leeds. Back Struber, let him strengthen and learn from the madness of last year’s best ever transfer window.

    We now need to take Gerard to our hearts as we did Daniel Stendel. The pride and emotion he showed tonight was wonderful to see.
