Makes this season a bit frustrating that even though we've been poor we've racked up more points than then.
2018 we had it in our own hands, while Bolton had the easiest game, and I think burton might’ve been in the best form. Other results were always more likely to keep us up rather than ourselves. Unfortunately, this year, it’s not in our hands and we have the toughest game of all the teams involved. Luton have the dream combination of having things in their own hands (assuming Wigan’s deduction stands), and having a home game to a mid table side. That season we had Davies, Pinnock, Barnes, Moore, Bradshaw and McBurnie at various points, yet only managed 40 points. That, plus the long winless run early season puts this seasons tally in some perspective
We haven't been poor ....... Naive yes, inexperienced yes, unlucky yes, but poor not in my opinion. Some atrocious and inept decisions off the pitch have cost us dearly.
The Struber team is far more organised and putting in far more effort than the Morais team. Since the lockdown - other than the Stoke game they have been on the whole entertaining to watch - although frustrating.
