I'll have a look now but I'm probably not going to tomorrow and certainly not always. That's mental.

I always go with first impression and they all look poor ! Can’t understand why we’re still with Puma

Puma do Newcastle shirts and they're great.

I like them, simple and unfussy. The home and away remind me very much of the 1982/83 Umbro shirts we had, white pinstripes on the shoulder of the home shirt and black shoulder bands on the away. Fair do's from me.

I just wish we had more variety. It seems that for away kits we go through a cycle, blue, yellow, white.

The white one looks very nice in my opinion.

    The yellow one is decent.

    Red isn’t bad.

I'm lazy, but I'd love to see a chronological list of shirts we've had, to see how often we've had certain colours.

In terms of yellow, I know we had one in 2006/07 and 2014/15. I love a yellow kit.

But it seems we've had variations of blue so many times, I'm glad we've given that a rest this year.

We should always be Red (home) and White (away) in my opinion, with a random third kit.

I would like to point out that I have zero influence on the colour of kits.

    I think that's in order.

I think the away should always be random colours of different designs. I'd have the third kit as a random bit strange design to appeal to those who like the odd shirts

By the way who does have influence in shirt designs? I don't think that's anything top secret to give out I just imagine nobody has ever cared enough to ask.

Retail Management, after discussions with the board and others etc. I mean, I am asked my opinion, but I don't think it's a key opinion. :D I wanted a green one with white pinstripes, so clearly not.

Mind if I ask a little more detail? Not a lot just a little? I've always wondered does the supplier send out for example 3 random designs and the club picks which they want or does the club have a chat and send a brief of 'we want something yellow, black trim and needs to have a collar' and then they send something back?

I find the little random things that go off at the club really interesting

I really like the design. Keeping it simple. Agree white away kit is a winner.

There's not that many more colours mate. Red's taken as it's our home shirt. Orange is just red by another name. No one can tell the difference between indigo and violet and they're both just blue. Which leaves green and green is ****.

I believe they send templates over email, the designs they are going with (Puma do anyway). Then it's about picking the colours. But at the same time, I know they'll do bespoke if neccessary, like this season's home shirt with the brick design. So a bit of both. Like I say, I'm not involved enough to give clear detail I'm afraid.

If we had a smaller company doing them, it'd be more bespoke. But then, you don't benefit from all the big company training and leisurewear etc.

I like the away with the pattern on it, It won't look good on some of the 24 stone blokes I see in full kit at Oakwell though :p
