The two games where it could have been soooooooo different; Charlton at home, dodgy last minute pen. Luton away last week, if that superb cross from Styles had been turned in in injury time. if my Auntie were my Uncle, eh?
I think I’ve just about convinced myself that we’re down now. It’s kind of reverse phsycology on myself to try and stop the odd bout of hope that crops up every time I look at the table. Already the Leeds fans at work are telling me they’ll be the team to send us down. Can’t wait for Friday morning.
You look at the table and think 3 points from safety with three to play and then you look at the fixture list and think "oh fo ok".
If Brentford don’t win tonight Leeds beating us will promote them and imo they’ll be rampant and I can’t see mads and solly doing owt abart it it’ll be relentless .
I'm just hoping that the pressure of this being the game to get Leeds promoted makes them nervy and somehow we can capitalise on it
I'm just glad it shouldn't be the game that sends us down. I think we might take it to the last day with a win against Forest. However, the Derby match from 2018 is etched firmly in my memory.
