Cannot see Woodrow being snapped up by anybody for a decent sum after the last 5 performances. He’ll be here in league 1 next season on these displays.
He ll be picked up by a championship team no question. Disappointing that we didnt play him in his best position st least in one game. A goal for him would have made all the difference, strikers love to score goals and I'm sure he'd have kicked on and scored more.
You'll need to dig deep to find any of our players who are guaranteed a start in the Championship next season. I'd like to hear from anyone who thinks that our players are so talented and misused by our coach, that they will be sold and be on the first team sheet of a Championship club next season. Anyone want to suggest anyone?
Hey you guys, Wigan were right at the top of the form guide for the last 12 games so not that awful a result. Your remaining games are stinkers though I agree, Leeds and Brentford are very good. Good luck. Amazed us Hatter's are not far from having it in our own destiny, couldn't pick better games to come but then I thought that ast week again Reading and we were thumped 5-0
Thanks for trying to cheer us up but we have 3 really tough matches. I'm really enjoying watching Brentford, they're a class above at the moment and even if they field a weekend team they are on such a high I cant see us getting a win. Funnily enough, leeds is one where I can see us getting something because they do sometimes struggle to convert their chances although recently their form has picked up and they'll want to be champions.
Cauley Woodrow, played as a striker, with a talented squad behind me to feed him opportunities that we seem so incapable of creating at the moment. Even just decent balls into the box, balls to feet, a cross to a red shirt, a corner or a free kick that produces a goal-scoring opportunity, wouldn't go amiss. Woodrow has been incredibly disappointing the last few games, apparantly he apologised when he came off today, and I think his confidence is completely shot. Not excusing his performances, he has gone missing in games at times, but you can sense the frustration and the uphill battle in every game. By contrast, last year in a winning side he was unstoppable, and a pleasure to watch. And he played with a smile on his face. What a difference twelve months make. Woodrow thrives in a good team.
