Some good surprise results this season but it feels like every time we get ourselves into a position to capitalise we fall short. Then you think, well we gained a point on Charlton and stayed ahead of Luton and start thinking about Saturday's match...
Looking at our opponents in the last 3 games, Saturday's game really does feel like a 'must-win' game. From the point of view of feeling refreshed after playing so many games in such a short space of time, we will have the advantage of an extra day's rest over Wigan and home advantage and I'm hoping that will give us the extra 5% of energy needed to win.
Think it depends on tonight’s results, if Boro get a result, looking at their last three games, Bristol, Cardiff & Weds against ours. We could now find ourselves in a position where we are confirmed as relegated at Elland Rd, or Hillsborough, what a thought.
Relegated against Forest IMHO. One of the 10 BFC commandments is “thou shall be relegated against a midlands club”
They did, three games into the restart and I was full of hope and optimism; two games later and they're all but gone. It is the hope that kills.
