They’ve done a job on us and we’ve responded exactly how they knew we would, mistakes, loose passes and giving the ball away. They’ve not had to create anything, just chase us down and wait for us to give them a chance/give them the ball back.
They`ve been tight on us and let or poor players at the back have the ball to self implode, which we have obliged with. Solbauer looks to play ball square or back when receiving from Walton whether he has a clear field in front of him or not.
I’d say more like weve done a job on ourselves , Stoke havnt even got out of first gear and they should be five up.
That’s a fair summary. We are clearly rattled, and it makes for a very difficult afternoon. Stoke have three strong players at the back too, which means we can’t hit long passes. When we do get the ball forward, the passing has been very poor. Perhaps an early change should have been made. That said, the goals we conceded were terrible.
