If his loan period expired and he only signed a permanent transfer today, how is he already eligible to play?

I think the loan ended today and a deal had to be done today

Firstly well done on spelling his name right! Not sure why people are adding extra letters! o_O

I think it is because a buyout option was inserted into the original deal.

43.3 Where any new registration or transfer of a Player is received by The League after 5pm on the fourth Thursday in March in each Season, that Player will not be eligible to play in any match organised by The League in that Season, except as permitted in Regulation 57.

Has this been waived or does it not apply for some reason? But what I meant was that I thought transfers had to lodged with the league the day before.

I presume his registration was with Hull as part of the loan

Both teams were terrible. At least Middlesbrough are still in the mix.

I was hoping we might pull a McBurnie and lose the paperwork for a few days, but you're probably right.

Bristol are awful. Little Lee is on one of his famous losing runs. Can see Hull getting a result there.

I have no idea if this is true, but I would guess that they either officially went through with the signing or we refused to extend the loan deal in to July.

As a result they've announced that they've bought him now, as they have, but the paperwork is probably just done as a loan extension to play in these remaining games.
