... looks worryingly like the countless mistakes that we made earlier in the season. I’d understand it if we didn’t end up clogging it anyway. I’d understand if Mads’ distribution was great, but we’ve let Millwall know that we’re going to do this, and it’s now too easy for them. Mix it up, ffs!
Muscled out of it at the mo. Too many players going missing. Hope we improve second half. Highlight, Walton,
Very nervous about the outcome of the game judging our first half display. Like others, don't understand this tippy tappy approach at the back.
The youngsters are getting bullied by Millwall maybe need Dougal on to add a bit more experience and game craft.
TBF only Mowatt and Woodrow giving the defence any support. So not knocking any of the defence. But when the hell are Brown. Simoes. Palmer. Ritzmaier going to get going. Styles and Halme for me to come on and put the graft in .
Reminds me of the Birmingham and Cardiff games. Generally poor game but the other side edging it and eventually do enough to grind the win. If we play like that second half we will lose this.
It’s not been the best of games so far. A couple of times we’ve got in behind on the left, we might need some extra pace in there to capitalise though.
Thought we started well but Millwall then came back into it. Possibly one of those games where 1 goal will win it for either side. They aren't allowing us much space or time on the ball. Need to mix it up, go direct but also play it from the back if the situation dictates. We had that move towards the end of the first half when we played it out from the back and should have done better given the space and position we got into.
It irritates me that we have a bloke in our six yard box from goal kicks when it gets launched anyway. Is it to try and create space and stretch the opposition? Just feel you're asking for trouble and Millwall can be straight in and onside if it comes back or is miskicked! We're too slow when we play out from tje back as well. Need to move it quicker if we're going to do that.
