I had to endure it live. It wasn't the kind of show I wanted to be at if that makes sense?

    Better on TV

    An 'age related' rant.....

It is the style of singing that gets me. Most of the current crop of female, American, Mariah Carey/Beyonce wannabee clones, aided and abetted by autotune and computer processing, try to cram zillions of notes in where one or two would be quite sufficient.
The constant warbling accompanied by the overused twerking as a distraction to the lack of musical subtlety does my nut.
One or two exceptions, like Pink, choose not to tread the over worn path. Female rock singers may not be everyone's taste but at least she sounds different, and writes meaningful lyrics, compared to the 'run of the mill' , dime a dozen singers filling the internet, who all sound indistinguishable from one another, as unfortunately do most of the tunes and arrangements nowadays.

Production values, in fairness, have never been higher. It is just a pity that the musical content is largely unoriginal albeit the odd artists like Billie Eilish appear and break the mould (not my cup of tea but that is not a criticism just my personal taste)

Yes but overriding everything there were some LOVELY LONG LEGS on show.
    Sod the warbling etc.
