A friend of mine lives there.. All day parking £24. Parking fine for parking conveniently near the beach £30. Just sounds like "premium parking" to me.
Also for balance there was a middle aged black lady who called in to LBC and said she was terrified and was worried that her property would be targeted. She unequivocally condemned the mob behaviour and gave complete support to the police.
They did. Local residents called the police so they turned up and tried to keep a relatively low profile whilst doing their job at the same time. They were set upon, attacked and chased away from the area. Police cars were smashed up and several officers were injured. The blame for this is 100% with the thugs who think mob rule and violence is acceptable.
Chris Whitty and Matt Hancock threatening to shut beaches and morning TV all over what happened at Bournemouth yesterday. I don't remember any of this happening for the marches we've seen that were just as busy and I haven't seen the government or MSM having a go at Liverpool fans last night letting off fireworks and smoke canisters and cramming together outside Anfield.
It’d be a bit rich of the Government to criticise Liverpool fans after allowing 3,000 Athletico Madrid fans over when Madrid was the worst hit city in Europe outside of Italy at the time which was also when most of Europe was playing behind closed doors.
Better late than never surely Good to see Yorkshire folk showing how visiting a beach should be done..... https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/local-news/gallery/what-uks-hottest-day-year-18485858 I was suppose to be there this week. Looks strange with the seafront shops and arcades shut in the background.
Were the bogs open at the seaside? What is the Governments advise on Public conveniences, what is advise on using toilets in pubs, clubs restaurants etc.
Just been on Radio 2,local criticising Council as they opened all Car Parks and Ice Cream parlours they own some months ago.
