First Team Double Header this week! Another reason to be thankful for the three points at the weekend ..........
I'm really impressed you've managed to get some of our current players. Well done, Ben, and thank you for all your efforts with this series of interviews.
Might have been my cheeky question/request in the AOB at the end of the Dane Murphy interview that swung it! Club took it in good spirit though and put two players up straight away which is a credit to them.
Another enjoyable stream thanks Ben. Good to hear Michaels positivity in still being in the Championship next season. Watched EFL again on Quest tonight. Have to say I was impressed with Dean Ashton's comments. We have two home games in quick succession re- Millwall and Blackburn. We then play three teams like us that are fighting to stay up Stoke, Luton and Wigan. We are capable of probably winning four of those games before we have what on paper look to be three really tough games re- Leeds, Forest and Brentford. Colin Murray seemed to agree with Dean Ashton when he said that by the time those games come round those Clubs could well know their " fate" and could well rest key players to ensure they are fit for the play offs. Ashton seemed very upbeat that we could survive. Let's hope he's right.
Thanks for that. Sollbauer is quickly becoming my favourite player. I hope we stay up just so we can retain his services. Also - another job well done Ben!
The first one I've not watched live! Nice to have an interview with a current player and to hear his thoughts on our manager. Definitely has made a huge difference to our defence and team. Thanks again for giving up your time to organise and host these Ben.
Yes, the "great escape" was mentioned. Struber has done a great job IMO. The thing that impressed me on Saturday is how he put in some of the U23's & it paid off. We are all a but sceptical at kickoff time, but it wasn't a Morais malaise, it did give us the edge in the first half & a bit more experience brought on in the second.
It was very impressive. Who knew a manager that sees players in training knew who to pick more than fans. Ludicrous.
It proved to be a sound ploy didn't it JP.? QPR must have had us watched since we beat them at Oakwell but had not probably seen the U23's we fielded, so were unable to nullify their threat. Great to see Gerhards reaction at full time. Been reading that Millwall will be without key defenders at the weekend. Let's hope we can capitalise on that with another three points.
Thinking we'll see Halme & Oduor on Saturday. Maybe Halme at the base of the diamond. Oduor would be 10 times better than Ritz on the left IMO.
