I watched him a couple of times for England U17’s when they won the World Cup & I was blown away by how good he is. A lot have suggested that he should’ve left City for first team football but I think he’s in the perfect place learning off De Bruyne & the two Silva’s & is a ready made replacement for David Silva when he leaves next month. I’ve seen a lot of hyped young English players but none excite me like this lad. He’s going all the way.
I haven't watched a PL game for years but ended up watching this one and I was very impressed by him. He looks to have the ability to become a top PL and England player.
Seen him a few times was great tonight, hard to believe he is only 20 years old and like you say ready made replacement for david Silva.

He’s some player now. The way he sees a pass, his quality. Outstanding. In four or five years he could be spoken of as one of the worlds best players if he keeps his head screwed on.
Amazing talent and IMO been managed perfectly by city. So many pundits and journos crying out for him to be loaned out, but for me city have done to right thing keeping him with them training with Pep, B. Silva, D.Silva, KDB etc. He will have learnt far more staying at city than he would have on loan at a club like Southampton or Palace etc.
Ready made replacement for David Silva. When he starts regularly next season at long last, Southgate will start picking him for England and the 6/4 Sky Bet are offering on him being in the Euros squad next summer will vanish.
