    My Mam's parents lived in a flat corner of Bloemfantain & South Africa Road. Rhodes House (?!) Loftus Road is still a shoe box stadium, but before they built it up in the 90s, we could watch the match from Nannan's balcony.
    Great win today. Now we're their bogie team.. They'll not be wanting to see us next season, but probably will..

    Trevor's glorious goal gets repeated again & again. But only we know how truly beautiful that was. Behind the goal. Gobs open & reluctantly applauding. Will never forgive Spencer for ending Steve Davis' career, though. Grrr..

    Sinclair's goal was one of the best ever, an overhead kick, back to goal, around 20 yards out. Poor Dave Watson scarcely moved!


    I know that area you mention pretty well, with Canberra and Ellerslie Schools nearby .
