Yes it is. When you have a lack of understanding and are willing to learn- fair enough. When you have a lack of understanding but are so pig ignorant that you don't want to learn - unacceptable.
All lives matter and brexit voters. I’m willing to have a large bet when ever you see someone say every life matters they also voted for brexit. which is an interesting juxtaposition as they didn’t seem to really care for immigrants a while ago.
They're all full of self interested careerists - these parties. All of them. It's just a matter of working out why they're in there. Remember when they got a wage increase? That was to ensure that therewas an increase in the quality of intake. Seen any increase in quality? Did Labour vote against that? What about jobs outside being an MP? Dan Jarvis? It's not full time yet they get £70k minimum. I could go on. They're shafting us left right and centre. Plus most of them are exhibitionists. You need to be born like it. But sadly it doesn't mean they're any good at improving my life or yours.
They’ve been improved somewhere down the line I didn’t have to start work down pit at five years old till I couldn’t move or died like my forebears , male and female . Workers rights that have improved untill this Last generation . So someone on authority has improved our lot , probably those hard campaigning Tory’s championing the workers lot and improving our live eh ? Fekin labour party toffs for toffs that’s all they are .
We all should be on board, we should all be treated equally. Those who think otherwise need to be brought into line. By any means available. I can't see why all lives don't matter. And why that shouldn't be a universal slogan, if necessary.
You’re making arguments up now , nobody’s said all lives don’t matter , it’s been said in this thread alone umpteen times. I think you know the context it’s been used in fact I know you do you’ve acknowledged it . If you want to set up all lives matter I’m sure the patents available but meanwhile it’s been used in a racist context .
Get real Marlon. We're not stuck in the 1800s We're no different to other European countries with regard to workers rights. We're better off than most of them. Do you compare the wage of the average worker in the UK and think it's so much better elsewhere? Why is there a massive queue of people wanting to come to the UK? Is it because it's so crap here:? We're a great country.
Yeah all that struggle before , being sent to Australia for being in a union . We have nothing that wasn’t hard won . And for you to suggest the bosses just gave us it , if it hadn’t been for the pioneers we would be nothing more than surfs in fact the bosses are trying their best now to lower the standards with zero hour contracts etc . Your the naive one thinking it was given to us , the world looked on to us with admiration with our hard won battles and took on inspiration and most have surpassed us now with our outdated toff society .
That’s documented further up the thread , your getting boring now trying to push mute points . I thought you wanted debate this comment demeans anything else you’ve said imo .
Correct sir, King Arthur Scargill once quoted " you're only going to get what you are prepared to take because they are not going to give it to you" & aint that the truth, ow I.
Being ignorant, ill informed or just uninterested doesn't make one racist. Call out racism by all means but don't generalise and call everyone racist just because they have a different opinion.
Where are these "Toffs"? Somebody has to have the initiative to set things up. Mostly starting from scratch. Where do you think Marks and Spencers etc. started from? Are you just envious of the riches that flow from sticking your neck out and making a go of it? There's alot of inherited wealth about. Whenever I post on here about limiting it, increasing inheritance tax, I get shot down. Whenever I post about how you shouldn't be able to pay for your kid's schooling, I get shot down. I am a boss. I care for my employees welfare, in particular their job security. It's sometimes not easy. I'm not dealing with abstracts then - it's their lives, their income. Covid means you take a hit yourself. It means if it all goes wrong your job, business, house is on the line. That might be a bit of a struggle.
OK well I shall defer to your judgement upon my debating skills and be demeaned. (what's a mute point btw? I'm a bit deaf myself but I hope you weren't being personal)
Short lived Here we go cheap digs politics of envy etc etc . None of that is what’s actually been said , but hey if it gets you brownie points go for it . The Trade Union and labour struggle is well documented on the web so your martyrdoms short lived . Bother somebody else with your mind games .
Martyrdom? Just earning a living. And looking after my own, my family, my staff. We'll be OK. I hope you are too.
No. You're wrong. When something has been explained to someone what they have said is racist, and they choose to ignore the explanation, then that is when problems begin.
