A press release from the club said that as per premiere league protocol the player will be self isolating for 7 days, aren,t all the other players that he,s played with and against supposed to isolate for 14 days aswell or have i missed summat?
According to government guidelines they should be. For me all the players should have been housed together for the duration of the remaining matches if it was going to happen at all.
i,ve said from day 1 that this can,t work for this very reason, both norwich and spurs should now be isolating for 14 days, unless they,re being allowed to move the goalposts ( pardon the pun), money and all that..
Aye because they all live alone and live off air All managers are also famously young, as are all backroom staff.
There’s protocols in place for players contacts outside their club, it’s limited to only the immediate family they live with. Footballers obviously famously live with their grannies, which is a clear worry. You can’t seriously tell me you’re concerned about the risks of football going ahead in a sanitised environment with testing multiple times a week after the last two weekends of protests?
I don’t think either thing should be happening. At least the protesting has a point to it though. Trying to accomplish something. I don’t think anything should be happening that isn’t social distanced. Football cannot be done while observing social distancing and as such shouldn’t be happening.
I think it should be kept for the foreseeable future. I see no reason for it not to be kept. All this talk about some countries having it at 1.5m etc. I don’t think it makes a difference. When you’re using your own judgement people will judge it differently and more often than not will over-estimate.
Id feel much safer playing football with another 21 people who are.regularly.tested than working on a building site or in a warehouse. If football doesnt come back were in league one anyway.
I also want to say that there’s research now suggesting that a bout with COVID can have a similar effect on the lungs as years of smoking. Not great for footballers.
Well on this basis we should go back into lock down cancel shops opening on Monday close all non essential work down untill a vaccination is found
No but like I said kicking a ball about between 22 people who have been tested is safer than going to Asda's or working in a warehouse etc.
The difference is that there’s no good reason for football to return. It’s not essential. Supermarkets and warehouses are observing social distancing, football cannot do that. It sends a poor message, if nothing else.
