My thoughts exactly. They have just gone and bought another club, yet fans are expected to bail us out once again. Well on this occasion I simply can’t afford to cough up for football I might not even see. To be made to feel bad for that is even more annoying.
They're not Premiership players though, Woodrow's top half championship at the moment and nobody who's going to be in the championship next year can afford him.
Don’t you think clubs like Forest, Birmingham, Derby, Wednesday etc will just keep on spending though? It doesn’t really matter if the clubs haven’t got a pot to piss in if the owners are willing to keep bankrolling them.
I have no problem whatsoever with the way the club have handled this situation and agree that some of the negativity on here is a bit over the top. The real problem will come if Barnsley are relegated, as League One clubs have already said they can't afford to play matches behind closed doors, so we have no idea when their season will even start, or how many League One and Two clubs will still exist in those circumstances.
Hi mate, was speaking to a Leeds fan last night they are doing some kind of initiative where you can buy a cardboard cut out of yourself for £25 to put in the ground. suspect it would get traction and generate cash??(!!!) have we thought about doing something similar do you know? Cheers, hope you’re well.
Also at the risk of sounding slightly Adam Hinchcliff are we piping bfc crowd noise via the sound system failing that, the Oakwell clapping song on repeat?
Or maybe a selection of songs from the seventies, but with history rewritten. Iley In! Ronnie Moore's A Banker You're Going Home In A Woolen Overcoat
