Where are you Johnson? I thought you were our leader? ‘Laughing boy’ Hancock says this is a war so we need you to lead. The last I saw of you was shambling out your crappy lies to defend the lying traitor Cummings. Churchill is your hero but I wonder what he would have made of this… In the Second World War, the UK civilian death toll was 60,000 in the whole five years. While you’ve been in charge of this war, 50,000 have died. In ten weeks. And it’s not over. Lead. Now. From the front. But you won’t will you? Because there’s only one word to describe you. Coward. This is a war, we’re all in it together, clapping for heroes dying on the frontline and who’s leading us? A coward and a traitor.
Well according to this morning’s Telegraph; Johnson is about to take control of the Covid19 crisis. which begs the question... it doesn’t matter, no minds will be changed by this.
According to rumours I've seen (disclaimer: could be absolute rubbish), the decision to lockdown was not taken by the British government but forced on it by the French government threatening to block the channel tunnel to traffic leaving the UK. In a similar vein, the original plan was to progress to herd immunity - was not to cull the elderly, but to provide the UK with a competitive advantage over the EU and help with the trade deal negotiations. Strong suggestions that this is the plan again - and the Civil servants working on COVID were needed to work on No-Deal planning hence the reason for the relaxation of lockdown early.
Johnson as PM in 1940: " We're keeping the RAF on the ground as shooting down a few German bombers won't make much difference."
Herd immunity? That’s a joke in it’s self. They don’t know even now whether or not the antibodies give any protection against further infection
Johnson , Bolsara,Trump . All populists got to where they were pedalling hate and division and no leadership qualities whatever.
Priorities. Let's finish the football season, then check the weather and the beer stockpile, and then if there's nothing better to do maybe then we can go to war. I've a few books to get through first, mind. Could perhaps fit a war into my schedule in about six months time... if it's not too cold by then... maybe...
We'd have shut down the ammunition industry years before. More efficient to buy stuff from a German manufacturer....
Agreed. Not many had time for him even back then. "History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it." Did a good job on that one.
