I'm hoping it will work in our favour, looks from social media as though the young uns have been keeping fit and are ready to start, Hull having 2 testing positive will be a negative for them. Thoughts?
If we end up playing there could be some very strange results because teams who have nothing to play for will not be 100% up for it especially behind closed doors.
good to have a footy thread ! can't answer your question but I wonder what impact will be on crowd numbers and indeed the players if we are (wrongly!) relegated compared to what they may be if the season is null and voided.
I honestly don't know. I don't even know how much interest I will have if games are played behind closed doors.
Im the same - and I have no idea how the players will fare will be hard for all teams to play to their best in an empty stadium . Still think we should put all on hold until fans can watch, but playing behind closed doors is better than the ppg proposal
I honestly think that most fans share the view about play being put on hold until they can return - fans should be the most important consideration in my opinion. I'm no fan of any other proposal whether it be playing behind closed doors or the PPG idea. I'd rather we didn't pursue either.
I have a feeling(hope) that it will be like returning from preseason and there will be some odd results thrown up, which could work in our favour.
Too much to do to have a chance of staying up and I'm afraid i still see it as an irrelevance driven by greed.
I think we won't kick another ball this season, spend summer platting piss in court and we'll do well in League 1 next season.
