Depends on whether you are referring to the actual building or the grounds which do continue down to Shambles street. It amazes me how I prefer the look of the town in the 1940s to what it is now. Some really tommy tit designs gone off post 1970. Just hope the 2021 look is decent once finished.

Does anyone remember the plastic money (coins) that your mam got in change from the Co-op? If I scout about a bit I think I've still got some. I always thought it was a bit of a fiddle they gave you change in coins you could only spend at the Co-op. Imagine if Asda did that!
