No, I'm not, I know everyone is continually trying to hide themselves from this, but it's already happened.

We have no trade deals with Europe after December. The winter crop in Europe for the UK market hasn't been planted. There were no assurances producers would be able to sell it, so the seeds weren't bought and the crops weren't planted. You can laugh all you like, keep yourself in ignorance, but this has already happened.

‘Tory Govt lied recently’ where the hell have you been in your life? Labour are not in power making decisions. ‘Get over it’ lol, What a stupid and the type of response that is easily attributed to this Tory shambles of a Govt. Shame the front line NHS workers, Carers and others who Have needlessly and tragically died from this Pandemic can’t ‘get over it’ Wow is this taking Tory apologists into another (lower) level

Ok, let me get this right, because we might not have a trade deal with Europe after December we’ll have no food? This is the type of crap the remainers peddled during the referendum. Are you saying all trade with the EU will cease? If not then why can’t we still buy crops? Can’t we buy crops from elsewhere in the world? Sorry mate, that’s ludicrous.

(Not wanting to resurrect the Brexit debate or score political points.)

The EU of today is very different to the EU of six months ago - many member states facing massive recession/long term financial problems.
With the present state of things are we better placed to recover as we're 'out of Europe' or are we in a more precarious position out of the EU. Or possibly it doesn't make any difference?

No it isn't. We have no trade deals within anyone as it stands. Producers don't grow crops on the off chance that they may sell them. If they grow them without a market and can't sell, they're bankrupt. They know their market. The UK market is not open as their are no assurances anyone can sell to us as no trade deals are in place. So no country has grown crops for the UK market. And you can put your fingers in your ears all you like and say words like 'ludicrous' about a subject that you know zero about, but it has already happened. The crops haven't been grown to sell to us. And the worldwide pandemic has exacerbated the situation many fold.

Can you point us to your corroboration for your statements about fallow fields etc. in Europe, and how there'll be no food for us?

Given that starving to death this winter seems a quite serious matter.
