I think you need to step away from the keyboard fella. Food has never been cheaper than it is now. all you’ve said here is ... I grew up in a house richer than most of you; and I still live in one now!! BTW Fillet steak for dinner and now on a 2nd bottle of nice red. Get a grip big lad
Read it again - I said most in the council estate could afford the same. Meat is far more expensive now than it was when I was a kid.
If you are the size you are because your dad could afford so much meat why isn't everyone from the council estate as big as you are if they were all eating it?
No - I have farming family. And was with a farmers daughter for 7 years. Plus - I have an MSc in Environmental Business which included Environmental Economics.
I dont think curiosity made you ask the question. If I'd answered 'yes' would you have replied, fair enough 'just asking out of curiosity'? Or would you have mentioned caged animals and not being in their natural habitat etc and maybe said I'm a hypocrite? This is my assumption but be honest yours was a loaded question. I have no issue with people owning pets by the way, I think they bring a lot of joy in these horrible times, and i wish i owned a dog to an extent. I just wonder why you asked the question other than 'just out of curiosity..' Anyways, I'm signing off for the night. Have a good weekend all. Stay safe and keep your spirits up. All Barnsley aren't we
How tall are you by the way? I know you're tall but no idea exactly how tall. And what's the best and worst thing about it? Also what's your shoe size? Just being nosey
It was out of curiosity, mainly I was thinking of a vegetarian friend when I asked it who fed her dog a vegetarian diet. But I wasn't looking to trip you up. Night night.
Night Night, don't let the Young Nudge bite. He's just a pillocker, does more winding up than an onsetter.
And oddly you actually believe that food costs more now than it used to? Either you're just lying on purpose or your degree is worth bugger all. A tiny amount of research gives me that a whole chicken has about doubled in price since 1980 - average earnings have quadrupled (rounded for ease) that makes the chicken half the price in real terms.
I understand that argument. It was, specifically, the argument that we're not naturally omnivores that I was addressing. We can now make moral choices and I understand the moral choice not to eat meat And I, if our species survives long enough, it will be the one that prevails and those of us who do eat meat will look like dinosaurs.
And if we feed the next generation on imported American beef they'll be calling you Little Old Nudger.
