It's important to note that I dont know the numbers served by these trusts, so figures can look worse or better than just the bare numbers. Either way the people of Birmingham and their (five) hospitals have taken a real battering by Covid.

They don't give individual hospitals, just trusts - I have a list of all of them. Some smaller ones might be just be one or two hospitals but I can't say which ones.
And a lot of that has been because the vulnerable were not isolated at all in those areas and were mixing with the fit healthy young people who were bringing the virus home. Had the elderly had more support and enforced isolation the death toll would have been much lower.
