You said it was clear earlier. Again, do you honestly think it's helpful to hint to the public and media that changes are coming way in advance of the announcement, then when announcing do not give the full facts until the day after? Is that the best way in your opinion, or would just not saying anything until its good to go be a better choice? Can you not see that- rightly or wrongly- many many people were flouting restrictions over the bank holiday weekend, assuming "it is going to change anyway"? In addition, there have been hundreds of articles speculating about what would change- i.e. a bubble of 10 people etc None of this needed to happen with clear leadership.
I agree, not about Tory values, but they're yours and I have no desire to to tread all over what you believe in. I agree that you can get caught on the hop. I don't think we should have done, but it happened, so let's hope we learn for next time. Like you, I can excuse that, if the response from that point forward was clear and rational. I don't even know what the plan is. There's no proper leadership, no clarity, nothing. We have to be alert. Just what we need, a soundbite. Alert against a microscopic pathogen. I can't stop shaking my head.
Somethings coming....somethings coming..... here is it...... il tell you what it actually is tomorrow. if it wasn’t so serious it would be funny how incompetent the governments reaction has been.
Brilliant, don't say it too literally his mates on here will be out tomorrow trying to buy them all up along with bleach and ultraviolet lights.
I’m being deadly serious. I’m selling them for him. Drop me a PM for more info. Guaranteed* to protect you against COVID *will not do anything
Hospitality no later than July when earlier than July was the message. Develop a virus. Unless he's in with China I think he means vaccine. No border checks between GB and Northern Ireland. Bojo doesn't know what he's on about.
Surely it's time to take BJ out of the front line. He is an utter shambles in front of the cameras. How can he expect his ideas to be taken seriously when he himself can't be? The phrase which comes to mind regarding this government is " Too many clowns and not enough circuses "
You mean Boris' common sense, which allows him and his party of ******** to pass blame onto the general public when his failed communications, policies and guidance (If you can call it that) ultimately lead to another lockdown and further mass deaths.
While you're around.... Over a week later and still not testing 100k people per day and only just got back over with the number of tests after falling well short. Just that !
Promising is that though. Testing far bigger numbers than our early days to get the same level of daily infections and deaths and hospital admisions both going down significantly.
