Granted this isn't to the level of Mick McCarthy but Jim was a good, honest and popular pro for the Reds. Plus the questions really lend themselves to an enjoyable hour!

Again, a very open guest. Good interview.

Always loved Jim’s work rate with us, can certainly see that rubbing off when/if he does become a coach.

I hope you don't mind but I've just sent your comment on to Jim. This is essentially the reason we setup these interviews and it's what we tell the players before they agree to do them.

That is wonderful, thank you,if your the gentleman who did the interview you played your part too,it was 1 hour I did not think of anything but the joy of reminiscing and hearing from a man I loved as a footballer, don’t think players realise how fond fans become of them

I actually enjoyed that one more than the Mick McCarthy interview, and I did not expect to be typing those words. I felt that Mick was holding stuff back, that he was conscious throughout about the politics of the game, and the need not to say anything that might upset someone he might need later. Right from the start, Jim had his heart on his sleeve. He was not one of my favourite players, but after this interview I admire his honesty at least.

Another great stream. Thanks Ben. I would like to join in with the plaudits for Jim.
Always tried to give his best every game and the type of honest player that every team
    needs in its ranks.

Always oozed calm and assured class whenever he had the ball. I for one was very
disappointed when he rejected his new offer and left ,but can understand his reasons.

Would love to see him back at Oakwell in some capacity and wish Jim and his family
all the best for the future.

Another good one Ben. A very good way to pass an hour and I thought Jim came over really well. Didn’t realise how attached he was to Barnsley so will be good if he can come back in a coaching role once he hangs up his boots. Bit mean of you to bring up that mistake at the Sty though :)

It was great to hear Jim recount the events of " Survival Saturday" when on the final game
of the 2012/13 season,we drew at Huddersfield to stay up.

It was interesting to hear Jim say he thought "Flicker" should have been given more time as
Manager, because just as the Huddersfield game had been memorable for all the right reasons,
the first game of the new season against Wigan Athletic was memorable for all the wrong ones.

I remember there was a great deal of laughter at the sight of Grant Holt who clearly looked out
of shape. We weren't laughing for long, as he proceeded to rip our fefence to shreds, in what
ended up as a four nil rout and it was a miracle that Holt only scored the once.

I will never forget their first goal. It was an absolute " screamer" of a volley from Ben Watson,
who netted the solitary goal at Wembley against Man City to win them the FA Cup and my
prophesy as we left the ground that day, when I said to my lad, " many more performances
like that and "Flicker" will have to go." Five short months later, sadly, I was proved to be correct.
