You should have made yourself a billionaire and non domicile then you could cream all the money in the good times and not pay tax then when the bad times come go cap in hand to the ordinary joe .

If you’ve paid taxes and submitted accounts as self employed, you should get 80%.... paid in June.?

 

Presumably UC until the self employed scheme kicks in John.

It's an insult . We are a family business of 43 years and just been refused the 10k govt grant because we don't qualify for small business rate relief. But, and here goes:
Timpsons will receive £20 million + in grants
Paddy power etc same
Specsavers etc same
Etc
Etc
The sun is nice at the moment but I'm not looking forward to telling my staff they are redundant.

I thought the whole point of the grants was to help smaller businesses, so sorry to hear this and I dont envy you having to make staff redundant.

 

It is all ********. There is no help. They can carry my body out of my flat at the end of this. **** them.

 

That applies to sole traders. I don't qualify. They have taken my ******* taxes though. They won't take me alive.
