I was advised to walk 5 miles every day. I started last Sunday. By this morning I was 30 miles from home.
5' 10'' and 9st 10lbs? He must be like a rake. I weighed more than that in my 20s and when I turned sideways I disappeared. Oh for those days again.
I am a few pounds down. Walking a lot more than normal. In fact I've probably walked further than I've driven in the last 6 weeks. I last filled the car up on 13 March and have still got about 80% of the tank left. Also doing more indoor exercise such as rowing machine. Trying to stick to it as a routine and doing quite well. My belly is certainly a little flatter. All sadly let down by too many sweet things from the cupboard. Otherwise I reckon I could be much further down the scales than I am.
He is quite slim but always has been. We've just reweighed (have to do it every Friday to check guide dog's weight and it's easier to do it by him picking her up and subtracting his weight) and he's up to 10st so not too bad. I don't think he's been heavier than 10 and a half stone all his life.
Cut most of the bread out and no eating out or takeaways here so I have lost over a stone in the last 6 weeks. It was deliberate and it needed to be gone so I took lockdown as an opportunity.
I’m 6’3 and 15st 4lb currently. 19% body fat. Was 21st and 45% body fat 2 years ago in March when I had a bit of a health scare that kicked me into shape. Joined a gym and never looked back. I’ve never been a big drinker, but I’m a massive foodie. They say people either eat to live or live to eat. I definitely live to eat. We stopped using just eat and similar apps and started cooking meals. Best thing I ever did.
Still working as normal, out for a walk everyday as I have since the doctor told me to in November ( prolapsed disc), diet suffering due to availability of fresh produce drinking more often nut not necessarily more as I like a slurp as it is. The walking is getting harder as everybody is out but I’ve done well over 800 mile this year
