    I would say I hope all goes well but there's no need to hope as I'm sure it will. Just remember you've got the best people in the world doing what they think is best and the best people in the world to do it.

    And also remember that while it can be scary and nerve racking for you, to them it's just another day at the office. And I mean that in a good way. They're so skilled and so experienced that they could probably do it with one hand tied behind their back if they really had to (though its probably not best to suggest that to them).

    All the best for tomorrow, make sure you're on here having a good whinge about the quality of hospital food on Saturday.

    Just wanted to let you know that a friend of mine had a cancerous tumour in his leg, tbh id never heard of 'cancer of the calf ' but anyway, he's absolutely fine now mate and so will you be . I'll be saying a little prayer for you on the 28th.

    Thanks pal, yeah I was same apparently sarcomas are one of less common cancer's and can pop up different areas of soft tissue like the calf muscles, good to hear you friend made a full recovery

    He forgot to mention though that his mate came out of the operating room with one slight unexpected side effect. It had turned him into a Sheffield Wednesday fan. Quite common really.

    Now THATS the only thing you have to worry about.

    As requested, I'm here to have a good whinge about the food.....
    Bloody leek and potato soup!!! That was the sum of today's dinner offering, needless to say not many took up this delicious dish.
    Right whinge over
    Now to the positive, the staff have all been absolutely fantastic, from the ward sisters to the cleaning teams and everybody in-between work so hard, god bless them all
