Zoom in. They all look to be social distancing to me. The car park has been organised with markers, ropes and direction signs. I wouldn't be heading there anytime soon, but I can't complain. If a shop is deemed to be essential enough to be open, then surely you're allowed to use it, provided it's managed properly.
B&q: sells products essential for home maintenance and products that will help reduce suicide and domestic abuse by keeping otherwise stir crazy men (and women) occupied. - omg it's disgusting how can they be allowed to open Tesco: allows you to go for a stroll buying a nice new ornament for the fireplace and a picnic table for your trip out. - how responsible Not necessarily aimed at anyone on here but it seems to be the hypocrisy of many.
A think my point being is that as a nation a think we find it hard doing as we’re told, we’ve been in lockdown just over 4 weeks now and the roads are getting busier and more oriole appear to be going on to the streets again, why the **** can’t people just listen to what’s asked of them and try to prevent the spread of this virus
People social distancing, only so many allowed in at once and then they can lock down at home doing jobs in their garden and home that will help their mental health. Our government should probably hurry up in making covering your face mandatory in places like that though.
Ha.....no I didn’t!!! I know where that one was going though, I’m sat on the sofa watching come dine with me!
Quite a lot of people struggle with mental health. Being forced to stay inside for months is going to cause them serious problems. You have to remember that for every lucky person who is at home playing with their kids and having fun. Getting the experience they've missed out on while worming so loving the family time there's also the single person stuck in a house alone with no contact whatsoever. You really should have said you did just to see the replies
I weighed up that reply then thought better!! I totally sympathise with people who are struggling and agree that if there’s shops that they can go to that will alleviate that feeling of anxiety or depression then they need to do what’s required to alter there mental state but I’d hazard a guess that over half of those in that que will have a wife kids etc to keep them occupied! I’ve jobs I need/want doing at home but won’t be stood in a que like that. A suppose we’re all different mentally so who am I really to question someone’s intentions
Not really, it’s our lass who has it on, I’m only sat here till ovens warmed up so I can stick some snap in haha!
Orioles in the streets, folk spending their days worming...the UK's changed a lot while I've been away.
There's no way is stand in that queue either but I can understand why people will. Really the biggest mistake was them closing in the first place. Had they stayed open and people allowed to shop there then the queues would have been much smaller. They're only big because of the sudden reopening and essentially a month's worth of stockpiled jobs.
I was surprised when they shut as they do sell some really essential items. Also now seeing other places open back online who had shut like Next. I wonder if some of these businesses at the beginning thought it would just be shut for a few weeks to a month. Now the reality is setting in they have realised they have no choice but to open it they want to survive.
It really is exactly that. Businesses (and their employees) are realising that to survive they need to open.
