I saw that on the news this morning, what a touching story.
It was that touching, in fact, that a bit of grit blew into my eyes (in my own front room, what’s the chances, eh?) and made my eyes ‘water’ too.

WOW, powerful yet wonderful stuff. Things like that should tell all the politicians just how important our NHS and Carers truly are. I care not what party is in charge I just hope they realise what a treasure we have in our essential workers.

You’ll find most parties do,care about the NHS and caring in general, apart from 1. Now who could that be? Clue the Rosette is blue

Saw that yesteday on Twitter - most of the people I have encountered who work in care are wonderful people and going the extra mile like that is not as rare as some might think - its a great story and we need more like it

Totally agree, Dave, old mate. Crystal's a carer, but she's had to pack in work for the moment, as Laura is high risk.

Well, some on here would believe it’s more likely to be them, or perhaps Chelsea rather than the Tories

its the little things in life that count, who'da thought that an old yorkshire vet would have done what he did for a nation, a young lass getting a picture put on a cushion, this is what brings a country together and not endless pathetic attempts at political points scoring. just grow up and realise that the common enemy is this poxy virus 'cos it doesnt give a flying f**k where you put your X on a ballot paper. EVERYONE stay safe, and mtfbwy

Is growing up and not being pathetic not questioning govt decision, inactions and downright Incompetence, prior to and during a crisis? Bringing the country together is and should always be any Govts job. This lot have been dividing the Country for years and years and absolutely revel in it. Indeed, the Common enemy of this lot is anybody that questions them. By all means let’s welcome , encourage and applaud these acts, but they must not be allowed to stifle or exempt this lot from scrutiny and judgement
